Man, already to the fourth "extra" comic! All these non-RoL related comics probably annoy you guys, but don't worry. There's only one more after today's comic ^_^
All right, today I talked about those unsoundly prices. What the ****?! It's quite obvious that Manhattan's main source of income is through the tourist's money. In fact, I know this for a fact because NYC's economy has been going downhill ever since 9/11 because there are now fewer tourists than ever. But, damn, it sure was expensive over there. The sad part was that the tourists were still lured to all those overpriced souvenirs like how flies are lured to crap. I mean seriously...you can't go to any street in the financial district of NYC without seeing SOMEONE with an "I heart NY" shirt or a statue of liberty hat. And the food was really really expensive too! Luckily, when I went to Little Italy and Chinatown often to eat...otherwise all those overpriced restaurants would have drained my wallet! Alright, here's another thing I noticed: New York's Chinatown is pretty darn pathetic, I'm sorry. Compared to the Chinatown in Los Angeles...yikes, I don't think you can even compare those two Chinatowns. NY apparently thought that if they have a few more Chinese restaurants/stores, they could call that area, "Chinatown." Heh, no. I'm sorry...no.
I really got off-topic there didn't I? Anyway, the conversation in the comic today didn't really happen. The New York people aren't THAT mean, though I can't say they're the most pleasant folks. Haha, you guys probably noticed I didn't think too highly of New York. Unfortunately, I had a pretty miserable time over there...it was raining the entire week I was there...everyone smoked there, which really irritates my nose...The only comfort was the whole liveliness which appeals to me. I like those kind of big active crowds ^_^
Alright, that's all for today. I rambled a lot today...Tomorrow I'm going to wrap it up by talking about all the attractions I haven't mentioned yet =P
