A rundown of the site changes mentioned in today's comic:
1.) The URL has officially changed. Be sure to update all of your bookmarks/favorites because in a month or two...the old URL is not going to work anymore... So tell everyone= http://www.rol-comic.com
2.) The site is no longer going to be called "Realm of Losers" ...instead it's going to be called "ROL Comic". I've found that people avoid this place because of the word "losers" so I change the name. Plus it's more self-explanatory with the word "comic" in there
3.) Here's the major change: no more sprites! I'm not a Sprite Comic Artist anymore. I've...upgraded. The first 20-30 comics are gonna look pretty awful, but I hope that by then I'll be used to drawing these. So why am I changing to inked comics? Because, unfortunately, sprite comics are looked down upon by webcomic fans. Though, yes, there are sprite comic fans...there is a much wider audience if I turn to hand-drawn. Plus sprites are boring me. Oh! And one more reason: with hand-drawn comics, I can make these from anywhere! I don't need to have access to my laptop anymore...so I can draw during class... ^_^
4.) Another big change...no more color. The old comic was big on color...but unfortunately I don't have the time to color my comics...
5.) The storyline will be reset. Same characters...but this time I'm going to try for a REAL storyline. A plot where stuff actually happens. Unfortunately, that also means that there won't be a joke on every comic anymore like how it used to be...
6.) ROL doesn't stand for Realm of Losers anymore. Easy enough to understand. I'll reveal it's new meaning later
7.) The layout has changed to fit the new hand-drawn comic! If there are any problems with it, comment about it on the forums
8.) Forum layout changed with the site one. Nuff said there
9.) Unfortunately, I am dropping all my current sprite comic affiliates because...this place is no longer a sprite comic site. I'll look for new affiliates later
10.) We're now accepting money donations! It was free getting this host and domain...so every cent donated would be helpful! The link is in the sidebar
11.) Like the donations, I've added advertisements in order to make some more money for the expenses I had to pay for this place
