Good morning everyone. I've been doing some "preparation" for the unwrapping of Generation 3: ROL. What is this Generation 3 you ask? It's the new art style I'm using. Generation 1 is the sprite comics, Generation 2 is the current experimental comic, and Generation 3 will be drawn with a manga style. More information will be in the next paragraph, so skip over it if you could care less about the changes.
Generation 3: ROL will be much more artsy. It will lose some of its cartoon-ish look with more realistic details. Backgrounds will be used to adorn the comics rather then the big slabs of white space in Generation 2. I will be pulling the comic towards a more storyline-based approach because I found that I couldn’t balance both humor and adventure as I'm trying now. I need to choose one over the other, and the adventure seems more appealing. I'm reformatting the comic to match the ratio for the standard "manga" size. It means nothing to you except that the pages will be longer/taller then right now. What else? Um, that's all I can think of. I'll add more later if I decide to improve something else in Generation 3: ROL.
Now for today's comic. Haruko is starting to remember all that stupid shit he pulled in the boxing ring...and that's when he realizes that technically Torio, Shino, and Keiko should not have been there watching him fight. So in order to fill in that plot hole, I plugged in a little part where Shino simply "knows" about Haruko's whereabouts. Saves me a lot of trouble.
Alright, see you on Wednesday! I'm finally having a three-update week ^_^
