Once again, I welcome you back to ROL. Today's page is a big turning point. No, the storyline hasn't pulled out any surprises...rather, we see the first step in my revamping of characters. Unfortunately, you'll notice Shino and Yasu hasn't changed drastically - if at all. Torio and Keiko, on the other hand, has completely been edited...
The hair on the new Keiko was actually the original design I planned for her when Generation 3 was beginning. However, I ended up deciding to take a more conservative approach right before the third generation began. But that's about to change. I think it's about time to be more radical. Thus, Keiko now has crazy hair.
Torio. How do I start with this one? I actually wasn't even planning to change his hair during the planning stages of this page. But then, as I was penciling this page, i just couldn't draw his hair. I just couldn't. Some unknown force was stopping me from drawing his hair correctly. So I decided to have a little fun with him and create a longer version of the E-Unit's hair while following the direction Torio's hair normally flows. Upon finishing my little personal gag, I noticed that Torio actually looks really awesome with that hair. Long story short...I accidentally found Torio's new hair style.
