If you ever find yourself with a lot of free time...I highly recommend you learn how to play an instrument. I just picked up my viola after a few years without playing it, and man. There's nothing that can quite compare with playing an instrument, after mastering the bare basics of course. Regardless, I've found that there are two types of amateur instrumentalists in this world. Those who play with emotion and those that only hits notes. While the latter musician may hit the notes with precise intonation and rhythm....you can always tell if (s)he isn't pouring emotion into the piece. After playing guitar for ten years and viola for seven...I've found that what separates an excellent musician from a good one...is the musicality. It's not as easy as it sounds though. I still don't think my musicality is that great on the guitar – but I do get really involved with the viola...I often find tears dripping down my cheek by the end of a piece.

Notice something different with today's page? It's ugly. At around this time, I had installed Linux on my laptop and rid of Windows completely. While everything else worked fantastically – the one thing Linux doesn't have is Photoshop because Adobe is a big corporation and you know how those corporations feel about open source. So I was trying my best to use GIMP as a substitute. Mind you, I've now found a way to run Windows on top of Linux through a virtual server...so I'm back to using Photoshop. But at the time I created this page, I didn't have that option available to me...yet.
First panel: random girl screaming. I did a terrible job drawing that. She doesn't have wings, that's her hair. Also did a bad job on Torio and Yasu. The only decent drawing is the final panel with all the bandits *shrugs* Things will start to really heat up from here on out.
I seriously write way too much sometimes.
